The Daybreak program is funded by the Australian Government, Department of Health.
The program includes unlimited one-on-one chats with our qualified health coaches right inside the mobile or web app. This type of help would normally cost over $180 an hour through Medicare or health insurance, and is free for anyone in Australia through Daybreak.
If you prefer to use the web version of Daybreak, please use the “Free trial” to start with and you’ll be updated automatically in a couple of weeks to a free membership.
What if I don’t live in Australia?
Daybreak encourages people to share how they feel through weather icons going from stormy to sunny, these icons signal your mood. The graph above shows the average mood change for our members within their first month of joining.
Daybreak works by combining a supportive online community with evidence based experiments and health coaches. This model can be effective in helping you reflect on your relationship with alcohol and in taking the necessary steps to change your drinking habits.
Change is an individual choice. It can help to ask yourself:
“Do I want to stop drinking altogether?”
“Is there something I am willing to change?”
“What do I want to leave as it is?”
“What are my personal health or family goals?”
You don’t need to be close to a crisis to access help and support. Addressing an issue before it impacts on your day-to-day life means you can move on and focus on the things that are important to you.
