HSM Community Facebook groups
Our purpose is to provide a platform for individuals to create meaningful change in their lives through a period of sobriety. By sharing their story, each persons' stand is a unique and essential contribution to a better drinking culture. Our Facebook groups are here for you to connect up with other HSMers in your area.

“The life of an F-Grade celebrity is full of PR events, product launches & parties – and inevitably free booze... I’m naturally quite introverted, so meeting lots of new people at an event can be quite draining. I tend to use alcohol as a crutch to get me through that... I’m looking forward to seeing where a stint of non-drinking takes me.”
By age 19, Harry Cook had starred opposite academy award winner Geena Davis as her son, been to the Maldives to shoot thriller movie “Caught Inside” and had appeared in numerous other film & tv projects, but realised very quickly how his drinking was affecting his life and has chosen to take a year off alcohol.
Talitha Cummins is a journalist and presenter with the Seven Network in Sydney.
“I first met Chris when I interviewed him in Brisbane four years ago. He was so passionate about this program, it was infectious. I knew I wanted to try it. I was sick of not remembering nights, hangovers and relying on alcohol to give me confidence. I was a big drinker. But it took me four years before I was brave enough to attempt life without it. Now I’ve stopped drinking permanently. To say it has changed my life is an understatement. I want to show others how it can change theirs.”
As an actor PJ has featured in Neighbours, but more recently he played the role of Michael Christiansen in Underbelly Badness. PJ will appear in the upcoming ABC series Serangoon Rd and the Australian feature film 6 Plots.
As a lifestyle choice PJ has avoided alcohol for a year and is thrilled to be affiliated with Hello Sunday Morning.

He is now in his 10th year of acting professionally in New Zealand. He love's it. One thing he doesn't love is Hang Overs. Will has signed up to HSM for 3 months and hopes by the end, Hang Overs will be a distant memory.
Gracing our screens for 6 years on Shortland Street as Nurse Tania Jefferies, Faye made her big screen debut in Love Birds in 2011.
"I think this is a really awesome initiative and I really believe in it. Twice a year I used to take 8 weeks off drinking for my own personal benefits and to maintain control of my drinking habits and relationship with alcohol. When I heard about HSM, I realized I hadn't done one in over two years! Eeeek! No time like the present yeah!"
