Mobile Engineer

We are looking for people who thrive on crafting excellent work, taking on great challenges, getting shit done but first and foremost - know how to have a bit of fun while doing it.

You will be working on both commercial and non-profit projects - developing products that improve people’s relationship with drugs and alcohol, in partnership with government and insurers as well as consumer-facing products.


  • Work closely with the rest of the team to build new iterations of the Daybreak app on iOS and Android
  • Help us rapidly prototype new product ideas
  • Work with product to identify and architect enhancements

Ideal skills:
The right candidate will have a passion for mobile development, software engineering and great UX design, as well as an enthusiastic attitude and a willingness to learn and keep up with new technology and trends.

Bonus points if you:
  • Have built iOS and/or Android apps previously and be able to show examples in the App Store, Google Play or as APKs.
  • Have experience with react native
  • Have experience with Go
  • Have strong understanding of working with web services, REST API
  • Care deeply about code quality, unit tests and scalability
  • Can clearly articulate how you continuously self-learn
  • Have a positive attitude, open mind, and a desire to collaborate and learn
  • Are driven by purpose

    Most important, we are looking for the right fit for our family … Those selected for the role (following interview process) will be invited to take on a paid, three-day challenge for a discrete project at our office in Pyrmont.
